I wrote this book to share the profound beauty and cultural richness of Hohhot, my hometown, with a wider audience. My goal is to highlight the unique heritage and vibrant traditions of Inner Mongolia, bringing to light the customs, language, and cuisine that are integral to Mongolian identity. By documenting and celebrating these aspects, I hope to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding among readers, bridging cultural gaps and inspiring curiosity and respect for this significant part of the world. This work also serves as a tribute to the place where I grew up, allowing me to give back by preserving its legacy and promoting its cultural significance globally.
